Julio Le Parc is one of the most renowned figures in the field of research, and experimental visual arts focused on both modern op-art and kinetic art, and his influence spans from the mid-20th century to the present. He was born in 1928 in Mendoza, Argentina where he studied at the National university of the Arts. He was awarded the International Grand Prize for Painting at the 33rd Venice Biennale in 1966. His works are part of the main worldwide public collections and are regularly shown in international exhibitions.
